Watching movies is one of the best way of getting refreshed, relaxed and to have fun. ‘3 Idiots’ is one the most awesome movie among all the releases in the year 2009. It’s a completely entrainment dose with all ingredients like comedy, emotions and romance in appropriate proportion. The concept is simple yet amazing; the story is normal yet interesting and last but not the least is casting of movie starring Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, Madhavan and Kareena Kapoor.
The movie expresses certain fact about our education system and teaches lots of thing which are so common, yet we often fail to do anything about it. The story revolves around three friends i.e. Rancho, Raju and Farhan, three normal boys from different backgrounds wanting to be Engineers. Rancho is the centre character of the story; a cool, funky, jolly, kindhearted and talented guy with great sense of humor. It’s a story about engineering students and how Rancho changes the lives of his other two friends Raju and Farhan and also includes his romantic flick with Pia, a professor’s daughter played by Kareena Kapoor.
‘3 Idiots’ is one of the smash hit of the year 2009. But success of the movies without any controversies seems to be incomplete in today’s world. ‘3 idiots’ has not been spared. The story of the movie is based on the famous book ‘5 Point Someone’ by Chetan Bhagat. The whole fuss is about who is to be credited for the story of the film. Chetan Bhagat has accused the director Rajkumar Hirani and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra of ‘3 Idiots’ for crediting the script writer Abhijit Joshi entirely. Chetan claims that since the movie is based on his books, even if the story is different, but for the sake of the plot he should have been credited. While the director and producer of the movie denies such statement, we don’t really know if it purely a publicity stunt.
Whatever it may be, a fact or just another smartly plotted strategy of the new marketing guru Amir Khan, all that the audience cares about is pure entertainment. They have accepted 3 Idiots as open heartedly as they had Chetan Bhagat’s 5 Point Someone. There ain’t anybody interested in who gets the credit; all they know is that ‘Chachu Aall Izz Well!’
