Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar today hit out at Chief Minister Narendra Modi, saying that Gujarat is unsafe for people belonging to the minority communities.
“Narendra Modi's Gujarat has become a threat for people belonging to the minority communities,” said Pawar, who was at Shegaon to address a public rally for the upcoming elections.

Absence of grievance cell worries GU students

With the Gujarat University (GU) exams round the corner, the absence of a grievance cell is worrying the students to a great extent. In the absence of such a cell, students either go to a students’ group or keep mum.
Parthi Raj Katwadia, a student from GU, who is also an NSUI member, said: “The working of the university is not streamlined at all and students have many problems, but authorities either neglect them or divert them to student bodies.”
