Ellis Bridge police and the fire brigade jointly conducted an operation on Wednesday to avert sabotage of vital installations by anti-social elements.
Nearly 60 firemen were deployed in the operation that lasted for little over an hour in the morning, said Additional Chief Fire Officer M F Dastoor later in the evening.
