This being the first festive season after the ‘emergency contraceptive pill' made a splash in the market, experts say it has created a big buzz among youngsters and could well be a cause of concern. For, it's side-effects could be highly damaging.
A recent survey in city conducted by Dr DJ Mohan of Environmental Bureau of Investigation (EBI) revealed that of the women who went to purchase e-pills in chemist shops, 41 per cent were in the 20-25 age group while seven per cent were in the age group of 15-20 years.

Nasir Raziuddin underwent extensive terror training in PoK

Nasir Raziuddin, who was arrested in connection with the July 26 Ahmedabad serial blasts had taken extensive Terror training at Muzaffarnagar in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) for two years, it has been learnt.
The DCB had arrested Nasir on September 24 from the Belgaum Jail in Karnataka on charge of taking part in SIMI terror camps in Waghamon in Kerala in December 2007.

Ornaments stolen from museum

Burglars broke into the Navkaksh Shreyas Gujarat museum, near Shreyas Tekra and stole silver ornaments worth Rs 1 lakh.
The museum contains artifacts that relate to Gujarat's cultural heritage. A complaint has been registered in this regard at Satellite police station by Mina Rajput, a resident of Paldi.
