India's top three IT Companies are going to recruit 90,000 more in the Financial Year 2008, a top Kotak Mahindra Asset Management official said in Mumbai.
"TCS, Infosys and Wipro would hire about 90,000 more staff in 2008 financial year," Kotak Chief Strategist Alroy Lobo said at a seminar.
Lobo said outsourcing to India is growing because of three factors namely cost, scale and time-to-market.
Besides outsourcing, Lobo said he is bullish on construction, power, ports and logistics.
"Construction is an interesting sector. Irrespective of prices, volumes have to grow," he said.
Lobo said he expects government policies to be populist in the next budget because of the impending general elections in 2009.
"Government policy would be progressive on infrastructure, rural GDP and social infrastructure," he said.

Despite the appreciation of the rupee, Nasscom, the premier trade body of the Indian IT industry, on Wednesday expressed confidence that it would meet the IT export targets for this financial year and its USD 60 billion target for 2010.
"We are confident of meeting our export targets", Nasscom President, Kiran Karnik, told reporters in Bangalore on Wednesday on the sidelines of the Nasscom-IT Women Leadership Summit 2007 in reply to a question on the impact of the rising rupee on maintaining export targets.
The Nasscom would be taking up the issue of the rising rupee with the finance ministry while pushing forward for the extension of the Software Technology Parks of India scheme.
"This is one of the issues we are looking at," he said with
reference to the coming budget.
"The rupee rose too much too fast," he said.
On the slowdown of the US Economy, he said, "We are concerned but there are two views on the issue by the industry. There can be an upside, but we don't know," he said.
Referring to a question on some Companies relocating themselves in some of the near-shore destinations, due to rising cost, Karnik said, "We need the government support on that. The industry is doing all that it can do. But things like fiscal, taxation policy needs to be looked by the government. If other countries are offering huge incentives, we cannot choose to ignore it," he said.
