‘WiZ’ promises to create a revolution in the Courier Industry with its value for money pricing at Rs. 60 for a courier delivery (for documents weighing upto 250g) anywhere in India (AFL delivers to over 5000 locations), ‘WiZ’ is an affordable product and provides complete convenience due to its standard pricing. A customer does not have to worry about distance charts or zones, as is currently the norm in the industry.

Apart from this, ‘WiZ’ provides the customer with various value added features such as :

• Any Day Pick Up : Keeping in view the retail customer’s need for any day service, the ”WiZ” courier documents can be booked on any day of the week and are picked up by AFL on the same day. Customers no longer have to worry about Sundays or holidays.

Announcing the launch, Mr. Sanjoy Roy, Business Head – Express Division, AFL Private Limited said “The launch of the WiZ is intended to revolutionize the courier industry in India by making it as easy for a consumer to send a courier, as it is for him to buy soap/toothpaste in the neighboring market today. By creating a fixed price product and using a non-traditional distribution route, we hope to improve our brand outreach. The value added features that WiZ provides will help build consumer confidence in our service.”

Explaining the distribution set up, Mr. Manoj Chandra, Head – Market Development & Brand Communications, AFL said, “The WiZ brand has been initially launched in Mumbai and is available through over 300 outlets. It will soon be available across all metro cities in India and we intend to have a distribution reach of over 5000 outlets by the end of this year.
