The North Avenue residence of BJP MP Chander Bhan Singh, who abstained from voting in Tuesday’s trust vote in Parliament in defiance against the party’s diktat of voting against the motion, was attacked by a mob of over 100 BJP Yuva Morcha activists on Thursday.
According to the police, which has arrested 29 rioters, the mob attacked the guards at the main entrance gate, entered the premises and began pelting stones at the house while shouting slogans against the MP for supporting the Congress in the trust vote.
