Parents lodge complaint with police; likely to take out a rally
Three Class VIII students of Patel Vidhyamandir School were admitted to the Rajkot Civil Hospital after a schoolteacher beat them up badly on Wednesday.
Parents of these students have registered a complaint with the police against teacher Nandabhai Jogani.
According to the police, Hardik R.Senjaliya, Khushal G Varmani and Milan K Vaghasia were getting ready to go home when, by mistake, they dropped the cycles parked in a row in the cycle stand. On seeing this, Jogania picked up a stick and beat them up. Later, the children informed their parents about the incident and showed them their injuries. They were later taken to the civil hospital in Dhoraji.
All the parents have, meanwhile, convened a meeting of the parents of this school on Friday. They have also invited officer bearers of the Parents' Association for the meeting. They are expected to take out a rally to protest against the schoolteacher.
