Rajendra Shah receives entrepreneur award 2001

Chairman and managing director of the Harsha engineers, Mr. Rajendra Shah received the AMA Atlas Dyechem Outstanding Entrepreneur of The Year Award 2001 at a function organised here on Wednesday. The award was given by executive director of Tata Sons Limited R. Gopalakrishnan.

The award was in recognition for his significant contribution in development of international standards in bearings industry and building a globally reputed Indian enterprise through his innovative and value based management practce.

Speaking at the function, Mr. Gopalkrishnan considered exposure as the key factor to any kind of growth. Spicing up with anecdotes from the panchatantra and the Indian epics, Mr. Gopalkrishnan brought to focus the importance of succession planning, in business for sustainability.
