Chote
kalakar show their skill at national painting contest
The city-level painting competition
of Global Trust Bank Chote Kalakar, was held on Sunday, in which over
250 students from more then 12 schools, participated. The painting competition
is a natinoal level competition for children organised by Global Trust
Bank in association with the Rotary Clubs, across 23 cities. The event
attempts to encourage the creative expressions in children.
The competition was held
in three categories. The winner of Category I, which was meant for students
of class I and II, is Srikant Nair of Shahjanand School. The second prize
was bagged by Ishani Shah of Nelson School while the third prize went
to Parth Maheshwari of Shahjanand School.
The Category II was for students
belonging to class III to class V. Mauli Shah of C. N. Vidyalaya won the
competition. The second prize went to Foram Raval of Shahjananad School,
while the third went to Rajan Banker of Kendria Vidyalaya, ONGC, Priyanka
Podda of St Kabir School, Drive-in branch won the frist prize for Category
III. The second prize for this category was bagged by Hothal Patel of
St Kabir, Navrangpura branch and the third prize was won by Hardik Dhabi
of C. N. Vidyalaya.
The paintings of all the
first prize winnes will be sent to the National level competition, where
a panel of eminent judges will select the National winners from the paintings
received from 23 cities.
