2 killed in water tank collapse
Two persons were killed when the compound wall of Madhavbaug underground water tank collapsed, near Kalupur railway station on Saturday.

The incident occurred in the wee hours and local residents along with the police tried to rescue the duo, who according to initial investigations, were sleeping close to the wall when it collapsed. While one of them, aged 50 years, died on the spot, another Bhikabhai Bhil, 30, was rushed to V.S. Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 3.45 am.

Kalupur police station has registered a case of accidental death.
