It is human blood at Maninagar house: FSL
The forensic science laboratory on Thursday submitted its final report on the unusual incident of blood oozing out from the floor of a house in Maninagar area. The FSL report confirmed that it was indeed human blood which was found on the floor.

The FSL report however is expected to put Mr Hiralal Shah and his family members in embarrassing situation as the FSL officials will now be taking the DNA tests and blood samples of the members of Shah family. The results of both the tests will be compared to examine whether the blood found on floor is matching with any of the family members.

It may be recalled that on Wednesday morning a red liquid oozed out from the floor of Mr Shah’s residence in Arvind Park society. Followed by the incident a team of FSL had rushed to the spot and collected samples of the liquid for examination.

"It has now been confirmed that the liquid is not a chemical but blood and more so human blood. We have submitted our final report to the investigating police officer for further investigation," state FSL director J.M. Vyas told The Asian Age.

"We however feel that it is probably a mischief played by someone. To ascertain the truth we will be taking blood samples and DNA tests of family members of Mr Shah. The samples will be compared with the results of DNA tests which we have already been done on the blood samples found on the floor."

The investigating officials however maintained that even if the blood samples match an FIR cannot be lodged.

"After receiving the FSL report we questioned all the family members to find out the reason behind the incident. However, they stuck to their version that the blood oozed naturally," Maninagar police inspector B.I. Patel said,

He further said, "We even tried to find out whether there is any property dispute going on between the family members of neighbours but they maintained that there was no such dispute."
