Police arrested the accused and one Samir Noormohmma Shaikh who was present there. Police had filed a case under narcotics act against the accused. Later, Samir Shaikh dies in the jail.
Police had argued that the accused had committed a "serious" offence. Judge M.T. Unadkat sentenced the accuse and sent them to judicial custody.
