In a complaint registered with Ellisbridge police, the complainant Prakash Vaghela, a waiter in Eristo Hotel, mentioned that the accused, on late Friday night forced him and a customer of his hotel to come with him to the city crime branch. After beating them up, the accused demand money to release them.
A crime branch official found him to be an imposter. He was handed over to the Kagdapith police. Later, the court ordered a one-day police remand of the accused. |
