Marksheets for CBSE
students on Monday
Although
results of Central Board Secondary Examination (CBSE) for Class XII have
been available on the Internet froni Thursday midnight, it will be some
time yet before students have their marksheets in hand as results are
yet to come in black and white from Ajmer. The marksheets will be available
from respective schools on Monday.
The declaration of result
sent a wave of relief among the students as it coincided with the Gujarat
Board’s result. "We thought that our answer sheet would be checked
leniently in view of the disruption caused due to the quake. Then there
are the usual disappointments like somebody not getting the required percentage,
but there is nothing drastic about the result," says Bhaumesh
Rajdeve. Kendriya Vidyalaya. SAC who scored 92.6 percent marks.
"The results are available
on the Internet but it also includes disclaimer which asks us to conferem
with the actual mark-sheets. We will be able to say something only once
the results come out on Monday says Hemant Shah, Principal Prakash higher
Secondary school.
The students are also worried
about the impact of high passing percentage of Gujarat Board students
on the admissions to B Sc and B Com courses." One thing is for sure,
the students in the Gujarat Board had it easy. While there was a lot of
hue and cry over Physics paper, they fail to realize that we CBSE students
did get have any options," says Bhaumesh. Overall students appear content
and are eagerly awaiting confirmation tion in the form of mark-sheets.
