The budget session of the Vidhan Sabha is scheduled to be held from February 26. Interestingly, the by-election for Rajkot II constituency from where chief minister Narendra Modi will contest is scheduled to be held on February 21.

The budget session could witness a first of sorts as both Mr. Modi the leader of the House as well as the leader of the Opposition Naresh Raval will be seen in a new role.
