AICTE
gives nod for engineering college
All India Council for
Technical Education has approved to start a degree engineering college
at Bhandu in Mehsana. The college will start from the current academic
year.
The AICTE gave the approval
after throughly checking the facilities available in the college. The
central committee for admissions in engineering college in the state has
received the letter to include 240 seats of Bhandu college for this year's
admission.
The AICTE has also given
approval for 30 more seats in the MCA colleges at Changa. Meanwhile, the
degree and diploma colleges in Visnagar and Mehsana have demanded the
AICTE to increase te seats. Meanwhile, a large queue of students was seen
at the L.D. Engineering College on the first day of the filling of engineering
forms. Students from Bhavnagar and Surat als came to Ahmedabad for filling
up the forms. The centres received application through post but were rejected.
