| 7 senior IAS officials transferred
The state government on Friday issued a notification
announcing the transfer of seven senior IAS officials. Officials who have
been transferred include principal secretary, revenue department, C.K.
Koshy, managing director of Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd. K.C. Kapoor,
managing director of the Gujarat State Handloom Development Corporation
V.C. Patel, municipal commissioner of Baroda Arvind Aggarwal, among others.
Principal secretary, revenue
department C.K. Koshy has been transferred and appointed as principal
secretary, finance department. He will replace Chaman Kumar, who was holding
the additional charge of that post. The managing director of Sardar Sarovar
Narmada Nigam Ltd., K.C. Kapoor will hold the additional charge of the
post of principal secretary, revenue department until further orders.
Managing director of the
Gujarat State Handloom Development Corporation Ltd., V.C. Patel has been
transferred and appointed as the municipal commissioner of Baroda. Mr
Patel will replace Arvind Aggarwal who has been appointed as the commissioner
of Cottage and Rural Industries. Mr Aggarwal will relieve DN Pandey, who
was holding the additional charge of that post.
Additional chief executive
officer of the Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority, Pankaj Kumar
has been transferred and appointed as commissioner of relief (scarcity)
and ex-officio secretary, revenue department. He will relieve G.C. Murmu
who was holding additional charge of that post. Mr Kumar will hold the
additional charge of the post of additional chief executive officer of
GSDMA until further orders.
Joint secretary of industries
and mines department M.K. Bhatt has been transferred and appointed as
joint secretary of education department in place of deputy secretary of
the education department MS Damor. Mr Damor has been transferred and appointed
as deputy secretary of the revenue department, replacing BA Pathak. Mr
Pathak has been transferred and appointed in place of Ms Bhatt in the
industries and mines department as the deputy secretary.
