Modi to take stock of the situation
Chief minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with Kutch district officials on Sunday after conducting an aerial survey of the rain affected areas there, reports our correspondent.

Mr Modi held a review meeting on the situation in Kutch with chief secretary P.K. Laheri. Relief commissioner Pankaj Kumar and revenue secretary Vilasini Ramchandran have decided to provide fodder at relief rates to save the cattle in the region. Efforts are on to reach persons who have been caught in the floods and to transport them to safe places.
