Sofitel Ummed offers package
to corporates.
In
a bid to lure the top business executives, city-based Hotel Sofitel Ummed
has unveiled the ‘Ahmedabad Corporate Package".
As part of its new sales
strategy, the first and only deluxe five star hotels in the city also
opened its marketing offices in Delhi and Mumbai last week.
Plans on the anvil include
relaunch of the boutique shop, renovation of the fitness club and unveiling
of two new menus this week. Moreover, Hotel Sofitel Ummed also has plans
to commission its upcoming hotel in Jodhpur under the same name during
August this year.
The Ahmedahad Corporate Package
at Rs 3,600 is valid only till coming July on a single basis. This special
package offering value and luxury for money is open only to resident lndian
nationals.
It will include breakfast,
dinner, one hour free Internet, 50 per cent off car rental, free meeting
room for one hour, late check-out, four pieces of laundry, chocolate mirror,
welcome drink, free access to sport centre, 10 per cent off telephone
and free airport transfer.
The normal tariffs for an
identical room is otherwise Rs 4,650 which includes only the rent and
breakfast but none of the above-mentioned facilities. ‘Lately we have
been aggressively marketing ourselves and to tap the potential in the
corporate sector we have already approached 300 companies," says General
Manager, Christophe Lauras.
About the Jodhpur project
Mr Lauras said, 'A true Rajasthani style palace, Hotel Sofitel Ummed Jodhpur
will provide guests with quiet elegance in a tranquil setting of landscaped
gardens. A comprehensive range of leisure facilities and activities would
also be available."
Some of these activities
will include exciting desert excursions to the ancient art of Yoga and
traditional Indian dance performances to enable the guests to experience
the authentic charm of Jodhpur, he added.
Hotel Sofitel Ummed’s property
in Ahmedabad is strategically located within I km from ‘the city airport
and has easy access to Gandhinagar, central Ahmedabad and the industrial
area. The hotel has been designed around a landscaped central courtyard.
Built on 2.6 acres of land, it has 80 superior rooms and eight suites.
Each room has a mini-bar, colour television, satellite transmission, channel
music, direct dial telephone and individually controlled air-conditioning.
The other facilities include
24-hour room service, in-house laundry and dry cleaning, a large swimming
pool, book shop, beauty salon and barber shop, a travel counter and a
large parking area. An added attraction offered by the hotel is a 12-hour
rate tariff.
The Sofitel brand belongs
to the France-based Accor Group, the largest hospitality and travel group
in the world.
